"Dead hate the living, while we hate the script"

Films: The Dead Hate the Living (2000)

Alias: Dr. Eibon, Gaunt, Maggot, the zombies

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: You want to make a horror movie? Well, make sure that the place you do it at is perfectly human-sanctioned. Otherwise, you're taking a huge risk, and not everyone's so willing to get your will written so soon...

History: Long ago, a mad scientist named Dr. Eibon attempted to use an ancient sarcophagus to raise an army of the dead. The sarcophagus was a portal to their domain, and he succeeded...only to end up a zombie himself, dragged into their realm. Years later, some amateur filmmakers choose his old hospital as a location for their zombie flick. They see the sarcophagus as a prop, and unwittingly bring Eibon back. But he's now got his undead army, and with his top enforcers, Gaunt and Maggot, he'll convert them all into zombies.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Gaunt and Maggot are set aflame while Eibon gets shot. However, the remaining zombies drive the survivors into the sarcophagus' portal, bringing them into the realm of the dead. And the adventure continues...

Powers/Abilities: All zombies can infect the living so that they become the undead.

Weakness: Conventional means for Eibon, fire for the zombies.

Scariness Factor: 4-As one might guess, these zombies are as scary as shambling bloody corpses can be, but even more. Maggot and Gaunt are rather creative undead, especially the latter with his unnerving mutilated face. Another day, another fight for survival of the soul.

Trivia: -Many were considered for the role of Eibon, including Alice Cooper and Tom Savini. In the end, the role went to Matt Stephens.

-One of the actresses kept arriving late and didn't seem to take the 10-day shooting limit seriously due to having another job with better pay. In retaliation, the filmmakers had her covered in Maggot's...maggots while filming, but didn't tell her that they were actually real.

He looks like he just hates everything.

"Which one of you guys took my nose?!"

Go back to your amateur band.
No wonder his hate is great. Too many apocalypse-mongers!
That's not menacing. He's just trying to focus with one eye.
